I was born on December
3rd, 1969 in Milan. There I obtained my diploma as goldsmith-silversmith at
C.A.P.A.C. in 1985. That same year I started working with a large goldsmith
factory. Its production was either handcrafted but also on large
scale.
After eight years of, let's say, not artistic work, I met
BRUNO FREDDI - painter, sculptor and goldsmith. He agreed in teaching
me techniques, different and non traditional methods to interpret jewels.
That experience lasted about two years and convinced me to start my own
workshop in 1994, the F.P.M.
At my workshop I develop a
different style from Bruno Freddi's even if I used and improved the
techniques he had taught me. My style is more keen on a wearable and
enjoyable jewel without giving up with the design that could make my pieces
unique.
Through the years, I took part in several exhibitions with
my artworks such as Agalma (Milano), Mostly Glass Art Gallery (Englewood,
N.J., U.S.A.) and I obtained some acknowledgements such as the first prize
in the Artistic Handcraft Section at "Signs of Memory" exhibition
(June 1998).
